Hon. Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle respected all religons-Sinhalese,Tamils,Muslims,Buddhists,Hindus or Christians. He belonged to a minority group of Colombo Chetties.

Sadly, He passed away due to a suicidal attack which killed him and 14 others. He was just about to flag off a marathon race.


He left two children Bhanuka and Samurdhi.
